GEORGE TOWN: A whopping RM3mil was collected over the past eight days by the state traffic police after a 50% discount was offered to encourage offen-ders to pay their summonses.
State police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakob (pic) said the offenders turned up in droves at traffic police branches in the five districts to settle their summonses.
